Our family history shows William Stringfield as a DUSM on Indian Territory in 1895, but the only record I can find is for a J.K. Stringfield. Can anyone advise me where I can find more detailed information? His daughter donated his gun, badge, pictures and articles of clothing to a museum two decades ago (pre-my family history searching and she has since passed), but I have no idea which one. Hoping someone can help me with ideas and resources. Thank you.
