"Death of the Old West" film
Last night ( Monday 2-1-10) there was a film on OETA, Oklahoma's public television, about the City of Ada and the famous hanging of 4 men in 1909. I came across the show by accident and did not know that it was scheduled for presentation. I am glad I got to see it.

According to the Ada Evening News newspaper, published August 9, 2009:

“Death of the Old West” is a 30-minute historical documentary about Ada’s hanging incident created by the team behind the award-winning “Explore Ada” television series. The documentary has aired statewide several times on OETA/PBS. The new DVD includes the “Death of the Old West” documentary as well as the original one-hour version that aired briefly on the city’s government access channel."

There is also a web site for the film at:

I was unable to determine from the OETA website if this film will air again.
