Barnes & Noble is currently selling an illegal and unauthorized reprint, published by themselves with a new and rather cheap looking cover, of our old book Public Enemies: America's Criminal Past, 1919-1940. Avoid buying this bogus reprint.

This pirate edition is not to be confused with the upcoming, vastly expanded (669 pages), corrected, and much more comprehensive and superior, official rewrite, entitled The Complete Public Enemy Almanac by William J. Helmer and Rick Mattix. The real book is published by Cumberland House of Nashville, TN and scheduled for June release.

Hopefully, the illegal publication will be removed from bookshelves and replaced by the real book, which may be pre-ordered at this time from Amazon.
