Pardons and Paroles

Hello All,

I have been working typing the pardons and paroles issued by Lee Cruce and Charles Haskell contained in the Executive Orders ledger from 1911-1912. If anyone thinks this may be interesting, please let me know. There are some very interesting paroles in this book. One, a 14yo boy in Oklahoma County, was arrested and charged with Hunting on Sunday, convicted, fined $25 and costs. He could pay the cost, but not the fine, and would have to serve it out in jail, hence, he was paroled by Lee Cruce if he promised to not hunt on Sundays. There are about 450 - 500 names in the file. I work for the OHS/OMH and copied this from the original ledger. MikeB
