I am looking for any information on FBI Agent Dwight Brantley. I know that Brantley was the Special Agent in Charge of the Oklahoma City Office of the FBI in 1936. I also know that he was born on November 10, 1898 and he died sometime in December 1966. The only other information I really know about Brantley is that he was one of the main agents who arrested Alvin Karpis in 1936 in New Orleans. I am looking for any kind of biographical information, pictures or any information on his law enforcement career. Or what sources I could seek out to find this kind of information. Thank you.

Have you contacted the fBI? They will probably still have a file on him if he was indeed an agent for he FBI. I dealt with a man trying to locate info on his father, who was a Special Agent for the FBI and sure enough, when he contcated the FBI they had this agent's file. The Freedom of Information should allow you to get this if there is a file on your man. Good luck.
