I am trying to find any information on Joe Jones who owned a bar in Broken Bow about 1915, or after. He had a run-in with Henry Stiff, an outlaw of that period.

The only name that I have is Joe Joe Jones. He was born in Feb 1864, in Eufaula, and died Jan, 1936 in Broken Bow. Married to Mary Emmer Todd, Feb, 1901. Henry Stiff was described to me as an outlaw, but I have no details as to what he might have done, except possibly killed someone.

According to the IDABEL NEWS dated 12/11/1919, page 1, column 6:

"Constable (Henry) Stiff and Negro (Andrew Jackson) Both Dead" . . . they shot each other at Broken Bow on Sunday, 12/7/1919.
