Hi.
I heard from the editor today, work is proceeding. The finished product will most likely be available about the end of August. Dee Cordry okhombre@ionet.net Oklahombres.org webmaster |

The wait is over!!! I received (in the mail - TODAY) three copies of Dee Cordry's new book entitled, "Alive If Possible, Dead If Necessary" and it is FANTASTIC.
Soft Cover, 282 pages, with more reference information and "end notes" and primary source material than any dedicated researcher could ever ask for. VERY SLICK LOOK! GREAT STORY! Lots of photographs and maps and sketches. Excellent book. ISBN # 1-9331484-5-4 Have your book store order it TODAY. Tate Publishing & Enterprises ($14.95) |

Mr Cordry, I recieved my two books today, I had no idea so much research went into writing a book. I will be ordering two more tomorrow. I was very pleased that there are a couple of photos, and mention of my daughter's Great Great Grandpa (Claude Tyler) included. She and her Dad will be thrilled when they get their copies. I am only 1/3 way through the book, but Supper demands my attention. Thank you for writing this book, I have already seen the names of three of Granpa's fellow officers who where killed in the line of duty, encluding Luther Bishop. Much of this I had found in the Oklahoman, some, with help from your. I Thank you so much for that.

I'm courious if there is any mention of a Jim Hendrix in this book. He was supposidly killed while robbing a mail carrier near Duncan Oklahoma in Feb 1926. If he's there I have to get a copy too.
