Hello together!
It's really nice to be here! You know the famous Oklahoma City police detective and later FBI special agent D. A. (Jelly) Bryce (1906 - 1974). He carried a nickel-plated, ornately engraved .44 Special Smith & Wesson revolver with ivory handle grips which carried an embossed black cat, a number 13 and a steer head on the opposite side. It had a four-inch barrel. (Please correct me if I'm wrong. ;-)) Now my questions is: Has anybody more information on this? Maybe a photo of Bryce's "lucky gun". Unfortunately, I've never seen one, but I'm really interested in this. Thank you very much in advance! All best wishes, Eliot "I'm Sure Having Fun" |
