Looking for any info on Charles E. Carpenter. This is what I have to date:

Charles E. Carpenter was born about 1867 in Illinois. He was a deputy sheriff for Logan County, O.T. in 1899-1900. He was serving as Sheriff of Logan County in 1901-1903. He was a special federal prohibition officer in the Indian Service in 1917-1920. In 1920, he was living with his family at Guthrie, Oklahoma. In 1930, he was living with his wife at Shoshone Agency, Wyoming where he was employed as the Superintendent of Livestock for the Indian Service.
