I am in need of information on a Pawnee County Deputy Sheriff who was shot on Friday, December 8, 1911, near Fisher and died in a Tulsa hospital on Sunday, December 10, 1911. The two articles I have from The Daily Oklahoman have differant names listed.
Sat.,Dec 9, 1911, P. 1, C.3 has "William Nappy" while the Tues.,Dec 12, 1911, P.3, C.3 has him listed as "Slack Palmer". Any additional information would be appreciated in getting him honored on the Oklahoma and National Law Enforcement Memorials.
