I'm not finding anything in Google but I'm trying to see if the Belle Star Museum supposedly in Muldrow, OK is still open and if anyone knows how to get ahold of the curator who may be one Dayton Holt. I found a court related reference to one Dennis Dayton Holt but I'm not sure if this is identical.
thanks for the help larry wack |

Hi,
I have never heard of such a place! There is actually very little items that can be claimed to have once been in the possession of Belle Starr. Here home is no longer around and her gravestone was robbed as was her grave at one time. Beware of anyone stating they have someting that once belonged to Belle Starr! M.Koch |

There was once a Belle Starr Restaurant down in that part of the country. Never heard of the Belle Starr Museum.

Just thought I would throw this in. |

And Liz I'll throw in that the Belle Starr Restaurant was still in business at Robbers Cave State Park north of Wilberton, OK, as of two years ago. Have eaten there a few times and the food is pretty good.

I toured the Fort Smith Historical Museum about 15 years ago and as I recall they claimed to have some Bell Starr relics including a saddle.
