I know that Luther Bishop was one of the first three agents/operatives assigned to work for the OSBI. Can someone tell me who the other two were?

Hi,
Lawmen Lee Pollock and JZ Armstrong joined Luther Bishop as the first 3 crime bureau agents. Pollock had been law enforcement since before statehood. He liked to arm himself with a lever action rifle which had a shortened barrell and could easily be concealed under an overcoat. By the way, my book on the crime bureau has finally been sent to the printer. I finished the last of the corrections a couple of weeks ago. Dee Cordry okhombre@ionet.net Oklahombres.org webmaster |

Thank you. I was curious because someone told me that my daughter's Great Great Grandpa, Claude Tyler, was one of those men, I know he was with the OSBI, and he was one of the investigators on the Luther Bishop Murder case, in fact he had been with Bishop on the day he was murdered. But I did not think he was one of the first three agents. Do you know when he joined and why he left?
I'm glad to hear that your book will be out soon I am still anxious to read it. |
