I have a copy of Frank Patton's - Oath of Office for the Deputy Marshal of the Western District of Arkansas - was taken on August 16, 1889. I also have a copy of Prosper ( Bud) Horton Patton - Oath of Office as Deputy Marshal of the Western District of Arkansas. I gave copies to the, Judge Parkers Historical Park Archives in Fort Smith, AR. They do not have records of Frank Patton. Prosper (Bud) Patton is my G-G-grandmother, Sarah Patton's brother. I'm related to Leonard and Gail Patton from Fort Smith, AR -- We have searched records, books and written to National Archives and Records Administration at Fort Worth, TX. -- nothing has been found on Frank Patton, Deputy Marshal. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated to find info on this Frank Patton, Deputy Marshal. We believe that Frank and Prosper (Bud) Patton are related. The Pattons were living in the I. T. territory -- Haskell County, OK.
Thank you very much.
Pocola Okie
