I'm writing to see if anyone might have any information here. My grandfather's last name was Mustin (apparently a first cousin to the Burkhalters according to my other grandfather who is ninety), and I was trying to find out more information about the connection. In general, I'm trying to find if there is a connection somehow of my family line to the Pickett line. My grandfather was half Cherokee (don't think he was on any roll of any kind). Any info or finger pointing in the right direction would be appreciated.
