I was wondering if Mamie Fossett and F M Miller could be the same person? Mamie married in 1898 to a Richard Miller, both women were U S Deputy Marshals. Also what happened to Mamie after her husband died? Cant find any information on that. thanks Lisa

Doubtful. Mamie Fossett had her position (I believe) in the late 1890s whereas F.M. Miller, also female, was a DUSM in the early 1890s.
