I'm looking for information on Thomas Haggerton, possibly a Deputy Marshal, who was killed around the area that would become Ardmore in 1871. Haggerton, born in Texas, was probably Chickasaw and married to a white woman; his primary occupation was farming, so it's possible he was an Indian Policeman or local constable. His family settled in Pauls Valley. The son, also Thomas Haggerton, was killed in a feud in 1910.
