Hey gang

I was recently reviewing a federal criminal court docket from the early 1900s. There are many entries which state "A.W. Ordered" and "A.W. Issued" which I have determined is referring to the ordering and issuing of Alias Warrants. However, out of nowhere the court clerk starts stating "B.W. Ordered". It seems that this is noted in every entry where bail/bond is filed or approved. Would this be Bail Warrant? I've never heard of this and just wanted some clarification.

Perhaps BW = bench warrant.
