Has anyone come across any references to a deputy marshal in Oklahoma between approx. 1890 and 1905 named Charles Lynn Gunn (Charlie)?

There seems to be a lot of information about Charles Lynn Gunn over on Ancestry.com, but I am not a member. I am only able to read partial information. You might consider joining Ancestry.com. Apparently, he was married to an Elizabeth, who was once married to (believe it or not) an Isaac Parker. I do not know if this has anything to do with the judge, but from my reading I do not believe Parker was married more than once. Gunn could have been associated with Parker after his death though. Some people seem to have extensive genealogies of the Charles Lynn Gunn family at Ancestry.

Thank you, J.D. Appreciate your help. Am aware of Eliza's previous marriage to Isaac Parker. They had a son, George Parker circa 1892. However, we don't believe that Isaac Parker was the famous Judge Parker, primarily due to the big age difference (Eliza was born in 1873), and also due to the geography, because Eliza's family lived back and forth between southern Oklahoma and the north Texas border town of Denison, while it appears that Judge Parker was primarily located at Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Eliza's father, Mathias Fletcher, did get some land in one of the Oklahoma land rushes, while Charles Gunn was unsuccessful during the land rush due to a lame horse. The Gunn family lore tells us that at some point Charles Gunn was a deputy marshal, but we haven't been able to confirm that as fact. Would love to find some official government or newspaper documentation to confirm that belief and identify dates and places. Again, thanks for your interest in my quest. Sincerely, Darrel Gunn
