While doing some research on the net, I came across several references about Oklahoma Rangers working in the Choctaw Nation during the late 1800's. Who would these rangers have been?

Jon, I'm not sure which stories you're referring to, but my guess is the writer/narrator was talking about the Choctaw National militia, commonly called the Light Horse.
