I am looking for any information on an E.C. Meek. He was a deputy Marshal commissioned on March 9, 1892 in the Western District of AR. I have his commissioning paperwork, but I am more interested in his death or warrants he served. He is listed on the memorial as being killed in the line of duty, and his tombstone says 1893. Rumor has it somewhere near Pawnee. Any help would be great. I have been searching for several years. I live in Minnesota so I can only do research from a distance.
