Looking for absolutely any information on James Nelson "Jimmy" Jones, born 1847 in Kentucky, served with General John Hunt Morgan's Confederate Cavalry during the Civil War, Indian Agency employee at Fort Sill, IT 1871, civilian scout Fort Sill 1874-1877, deputy U.S. marshal Western District of Arkansas with headquarters at Fort Sill 1875-1877, Chief of Indian Police at Wichita Agency [Anadarko] 1879-1883, rancher, banker, and founding father of Verden, Oklahoma. Died January 1929 and is buried at Verden, Oklahoma. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.
