Hi all. I am looking for a recommendation for maps of the Indian Territory. Is there a good collection that can be purchased somewhere that would have Oklahoma Territory in its various stages from the early 1800's through statehood? I'm looking to purchase something on paper, perhaps a collection. I have found a few online sources but I have difficulty reading them. Thanks for any help. John

Here's an online source that might have some easier to read maps. It's from Doug Dawgz Blog. A really good source of maps and charts outlining the development of Oklahoma is found in the University of Oklahoma's "Historical Atlas of Oklahoma." It has undergone several revisions and keeps one straight on the multiple shifts in the territorial government. The Oklahoma Historical Society has several good maps available through their gift shop. And, the Library of Congress has maps accessible online for free viewing which can also be purchased for a fee.
