Does anyone have additional info re this?

From the Territorial Topics, Sept. 26, 1889: "Frank Lee, alias George Stephens and Charley Bell, alias George Scott, after a pursuit of 100 miles were captured at Guthrie, OKlahoma Territory last Sunday by Dep. U. S. Marshal Robert Nestor, E. E. Lowe, and Wm. Bradley, posse.
They were found in possession of 4 horses belonging to Alex Harland. They were supplied with a camping outfit, wire snippers, keys and other appliances. It is thought that Scott is a brother to George Thorn, a noted horsethief who was sentenced to the pen from Ft. Smith about one year ago, for 15 years.
Scott had in his possession a letter from Ida Hurley, dated at Selden, Erath County, Texas, June 27th and directed to Charley Bell, Dallas, Texas. The young lady says in her letter that she had expected Bell to return with John Robertson, but that Robertson had told her on his return that Bell would not come before the 4th of July. There is evidently a "gang" of these fellows plying their neferious trade throughout the country.
