I am looking for any information on Lorenzo Dow Meek. Some of his kin lived in the Chicasaw Nation even though they were part Choctaw and some were part Cherokee. It is a hugh family and I have been having an awful time sorting them all out. Lorenzo was supposed to have died around Foss or Minco, OK, around 1900. Any info on any Meek is bound to be a relative! The only small reference I've been able to find is from Goodspeeds History of NW Arkansas that mentions a "Shotgun Jerry" Meek and a "Blue Jacob" Meek - Blue Jacob is thought to be Lorenzo's father.
