Lon Case of Dalton Gang

I have a photograph of some of my No Man's Land cowboys one of which is identified as "Lon Case (one-time member of the Dalton Gang)".

Trouble is I can't find anything that mentions him. I am assuming that Lon is probably short for Alonzo.

Anybody ever heard of him?

In Glenn Shirley's "West of Hell's Fringe," p. 156-157, just as the battle between feds and Daltons at Ingalls, Oklahoma Territory, was about to begin the deputies spotted..."a ragged little youngster hiding in the brush, ears and eyes wide open to everything being discussed. Lucas identified him as one of the local boys who fished in the nearby creek and received generous tips from the outlaws to warn them if any strangers approached...the boy was questioned, then chained to a tree for later disposition... p.164: Late that evening, Sheriff Burdick and Hixon reached Stillwater with Lon Case, the boy left chained to the tree by the marshals, his brother Al,...and several others.
