I am looking for more information on a half breed Indian named israel carr--aka ezra carr--who was convicted of murder at fort smith in 1894. he was not hung according to fort smith records. according to family resources he murdered a family member who was named conway and supposedly a us marshal or ranger-- am interested in what happened to this outlaw.

I believe Daniel F. Littlefield talks about Isreal Carr in his book "Chickasaw Freedmen."
