I was at Fort Smith Ar main library today and was searching Judge Parker sentencing records. I found a Lee Coker sentenced to prison for larceny on Mar 18 1890.

Hi, jcb37jr, I'm curious where this Coker was from, and if he was white or Indian? I was, and still am, interested in a Charles Coker killed by a John Newcomb in 1870, in the Cherokee Nation. I did find that Charles Coker was buried in Nowata County. The record said Charles Coker was white; family said he was at least 1/2 Indian. Thanks, Martha.
