Scattered throughout 1888 newspapers is an advertisement for the Protective & Detective Association. The Ad states it is "domiciled at Dallas, Texas with a branch office at Atoka, I. T. The ad also announces that "responsible agents wanted in every section of the Indian Territor," with instructions to apply at Atoka. Anyone know anything about this outfit?
