This site, while focussing on Emmett Dalton, contains an exhaustive collection of contemporary newspaper articles which often touch upon other people and events which may be of interest to Oklahombres members. The researcher (Ms. K. M. Presland) has done a first-rate job of finding and presenting primary and secondary historical material. See:

Looks to be an excellent page on the Daltons. Very good. I was not aware of this web site either. Thanks

Thanks for sharing the web site. If you ever make it down to Longview, TX, there is a museum there, I believe in an old bank. Some Daltons tried robbing a bank there also. It has been quite a few years since I have been there so don't remember how they are related, but they were related to our Dalton Gang.

Lot of information there. Kinda nice to see someone interested only in Emmett. But this site is not the end all for the Dalton boys. As to the previous post, the Longview robbery involved Bill Dalton.

Thanks for the name, Tower. I couldn't remember it. Wasn't he a cousin of Emmett's? That is what I'm thinking.

Bill was a brother to the outlaw Daltons. For a list of all the Dalton brothers and sisters see:
http://www.kayempea.net/adds/daltonfamily.html Thanks to Ms. Presland for compiling this information. --meursault |
