Triplett is a fairly uncommon name. Any relation to an outlaw named Richard "Dick" Triplett who operated in the Cherokee Nation during the late 1870s and was wounded when outlaw Jim Barker was killed?

I've been researching attempting to find out more information on Deputy Marshal William Banks. It appears he worked out of El Reno and worked with Madsen and Prater. Does anyone know any information regarding his background, ancestry, or other biographical information?

William Banks was a deputy U.S. marshal and held a field officer position at Cheyenne, O.T. in 1893-1905. In 1895, Banks was serving at El Reno. Banks was a deputy sheriff at the time he was a member of the posse led by Deputy U.S. Marshal Chris Madsen in pursuit of Bill Doolin in 1895.
