In the course of trying to track down a story in my family regarding my great-great-great grandfather's disappearance, I ran across the following:

http://www.rootsweb.com/~oklawmen/lawmen/williamsbf.htm

Can anyone give me further information about this desperado that went by the name of "Apache Sam" Walker? I haven't been able to find any other information on this individual.

Thanks!

That is the only mention that I have ever come across concerning "Apache Sam". Unfortunately, he seems to be like so many other outlaws in lawmen in our rich heritage...they simply disappeared. Are you thinking that "Apache Sam" might be your relative?
