Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has any information on or has ever heard of a William Hendrix aka "Wild Bill Hendrix" of Oklahoma. My grandfather told me if I ever had some time, to look for information about him. He said that he is related to us (cousin or uncle on my great grandmothers' maternal side). My grandfather told me a few things about him and I was wondering if there was more information online. Well it's difficult to find any information on anyone named Wild Bill unless their name is Hickock! So I was hoping that there was someone here who could help. My grandfather told me that he was known for being a good shot and for dressing as a woman when hiding out from the lawmen.

If anyone knows any more information and/or can lead me to a website that has more info, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

My wife is related to a Will (William) Hendrix that was a very bad guy in the early 1900's in southern Oklahoma. Give me some more detail and see if we're talking about the same guy..
