I received the following e-mail and ask any who can to help her.

My class is currently studying the state of Oklahoma. I am interested in thier law enforcement from pre-statehood to the present, but am having a difficult time finding information. Could you please point me in the right direction. I only have a few weeks left to complete the project, and my students have found the researching rather difficult. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

Hi,

There are several text books on the history of Oklahoma, but if your looking for law enforecement, then any of Glenn Shirley's books would be good. Art Burton, Nancy Samuelson and Ken Butler have also written on this subject matter as well. Ron Owen's has several good books on the subject matter too. Check out any of these via your local library or you can purchase some of them on Amazon.com. Good luck!
