There is a photo on page 37 of the book Historic Photos of Oklahoma Lawmen that is said to be George Thornton on horseback. The image is from the OHS Photo Archives. After viewing this photo I believe the photo is of Floyd Wilson. I have written articles about both deputies. I wrote and article a while back on George Thornton for True West/Old West Magazine and I wrote a more recent article on Wilson for the Oklahombres Journal. In the journal article their was a drawing of Wilson taken from a photo and you can compare this image with the photo in the book.
