I am interested in learning more about the history of Cardon Oklahoma. I have read before that the Cardon family was killed in an Indian raid while moving to Oklahoma from Tennessee. However two of the boys survived and the town was later named after them? Does anyone know more about this?

More to this story that I should have posted. The Cardon family moved from the area around Starr Mountain Tennessee. Starr mountain was named after the Starr family, of which Belle Starrs husband was a decendant.
